From kids to older ones, chocolates still enjoy the privilege of being the most famous snack. Thus, it is no surprise that the Guinness Book also has the record for the largest chocolate ever made in the world.
Till 2011, Thorntons PLC held the record of the largest and heaviest chocolate bar in the world. The bar was 4.0 m by 4.0 m by 0.35 m in measure and weighed 5,792.50 kg. However, in 2020, the record was broken by a group of people from the Netherlands who ventured to create history by making the largest size of chocolates. It weighed 13.079 kilograms, and the record was attempted to honor the 20th anniversary of the chocolate shop Frits van Noppen.
Though it is now officially recognized as the largest chocolate bar by size, the chocolate made by Thornton PLC in 2011, is also in the book as the heaviest chocolate ever made in history.
