5. Fred the Labrador and Dennis the Duckling

Dennis’s mom was attacked by a fox, leaving the tiny 1-week-old duckling alone. But Fred and his owner Jeremy came to the rescue and adopted Dennis! Fred immediately cared for the fuzzy duckling, keeping him warm and safe.
To this day, devoted dog Fred and little Dennis remain the best of friends, they even swimming together in England. It just goes to show the power of parental love – Fred’s instincts kicked in to raise Dennis despite their differences.
